Beloved wife of 29 years of the late Bob; dearest mother of Jan (Gary) Perkins and Joan (Martin) Short; step-mother of Robin, Randy, Robert Jr., and Russell Cole; special grandmother of 4; great grandmother of 3. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents Henry and Amanda Christian. Shelia was the youngest of 10 children. She retired from Pontiac school district. She worked as a medical and legal secretary, worked at Wurtsmith Air Force Base as chapel secretary, court reporter for Oakland County friend of the court, was a notary public, and she ran her own secretarial service. Shelia was a self taught seamstress and quilter, she taught dozens of people to quilt. She quilted up to a few years ago when working jointly on a wedding gift for a family member. She really enjoyed it; it was a passion of hers.
