Sharon Lee VanBibber, 84, passed away peacefully on February 9, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born on July 2nd, 1941, and lived a life defined by generosity, joy, and deep devotion to those she loved.
Sharon was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Kenneth VanBibber, with whom she shared 26 years of love and partnership with.
She is survived by her loving children, Curtis Leonard, Kelly Leonard, Kevin Leonard and Craig Leonard who were the pride of her life. Sharon was a devoted grandmother to Madeline, Elli, Liam, Elle, and Cade, each of whom brought her immense happiness and laughter. She is also survived by her siblings, Jack McDonald and Janice Reynolds. She is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends who were an important part of her life and miss her greatly. These include Jeff, Wendy, Amber and Josh McDonald. Lisa, Marina and Iris Bernardo. Sherry McKissen and family. Nancy Overfield and daughters Shelly and Nichole. Michael, Jim, Heather and Avery Kalfayan, and many more.
Sharon had a true gift for making people feel welcome. She loved to cook and feed anyone and everyone that visited, finding joy in full tables and shared meals. Some of her happiest moments were spent with her grandchildren. Sharon enjoyed laughing, playing games, crafting, dancing, but mostly enjoying time together as a family. She had a special love for the water and a laugh that could light up any room.
Known for her warmth and kindness, Sharon leaves behind a legacy of love, family, and cherished memories that will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
A celebration of life will be determined at a later date with details to follow.
