LONG, SARAH J. "SALLY" of Waterford, passed away July 2, 2022 at 94 years of age. Loving wife of the late George Long; dear mother of Susan (Bill) Dolsen, Cindy (David) Garner-VanDecar, and June Tousignant; grandmother of Jeremy (Christine) Lintz, Joshua Lintz, Roy Tousignant, Jr., Blake (Jessica) Garner, Ashley (Paul) Rottach, and Michael Kittl; great grandmother of Riley, Cole, Michael, Bailey, Allsion, and Emma; sister of Carol (Joe) Opdenhoff and Jim Collins; preceded in death by siblings June Weber, Marjorie Cox, and Betty Garrett. Sally retired from GM in 1984 after 32 years of dedicated service. She lived life to fullest and enjoyed traveling; gardening; doll collecting; swimming; and bingo. She was known for her love of dancing, live music, and her devotion to loving husband, George. She lived a long and full life and will be forever remembered by those who loved her. Funeral service will be Friday, July 8, 2022 at 11 AM at COATS FUNERAL HOME-WATERFORD. Burial will follow at Sashabaw Plains Cemetery, Clarkston. Family will receive friends Thursday 4-8 PM.
