Sandra Kay
Mayberry
Aug 5, 1944 — Mar 5, 2023
Sandra Kay Mayberry of Waterford, MI, formerly of Saginaw, passed away peacefully at home on March 5, 2023. Sandy was born in Hampton, VA on August 5, 1944. She would spend most of her life in Michigan with her beloved husband of 54 years, Kenneth Mayberry and their two daughters, Beth and Tammy. A retired Army wife, Sandy supported her husband's career and every relocation; New York, Virginia, Germany, and finally Michigan. She was a strong wife and mother managing a household as a single parent while Ken spent tours of duty in Greenland, Vietnam, and Korea. Sandy lost her vision when she became a senior but that did not stop her feisty spirit. She loved music in the park; concerts; listening and dancing to the music on her deck. She enjoyed comedy; game shows; family gatherings; and good old fashioned "comfort food" of her youth. Sandy is reunited with many from her family chain, husband Kenneth Mayberry; daughter, Tammy (Sam) Pagano; granddaughter, Renee Pagano; brother, James Grego; and parents Ruth Hickman and George Campbell. Left to cherish her memories are her sister, Janice (Michael) Cartwright; brothers, David (Dawn) Grego and Jeff Grego; daughter Beth (Mark) Eisenhardt; grandchildren, Danielle Eisenhardt and Christopher (Sarah) Pagano; great grandson, Ryan Pagano; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
