KRETSCH, SANDRA BEATRICE of Waterford, passed away August 19, 2022, at 82 years of age. She was born February 17, 1940 in Detroit, Michigan. Loving daughter of late David and the Lorraine Maior (nee Olzack); beloved wife of Edward Joseph Kretsch for 58 wonderful years; cherished mother of Edward Anthony Kretsch, Bridgette Marie Packer, and Michael Anthony Kretsch; proud grandmother of Ryan Packer, Amanda Packer, Brianna Campbell, and Leanna Campbell. Sandra grew up in Hamtramck, Michigan, where she had also married the love of her life, Edward Kretsch on October 19, 1963, at St. Ladislaus Church. Sandra had worked at Kmart for over 32 years. She will be remembered as a hard worker who was always dedicated to her job. Prior to her career at Kmart, she had worked in admissions in the ER Department at Detroit Osteopathic Hospital for a few years. Anyone who knew Sandra will remember her as a good friend who helped anyone through thick or thin, especially her husband, Edward. Sandra loved to be outside; she loved to be on the boat on Lake St. Claire and go fishing, garden, and had many bird houses that she took care of. She loved to gift family and friends baked goods for the holidays. A memorial service will take place for Sandra at the Oakland County Sportsman club Wednesday, September 7th, 2022, from 1-6 PM.
