RITCHIE, SAMUEL B. of Waterford, passed away September 25, 2020 at 95 years of age. Loving husband of Donna for 35 years; dear father of Samuel (Lynda) Ritchie, Ronald (Julie Day) Ritchie, Rebecca (Thomas) Boyer, Lori Hooper, Julie (Larry Warunek) Allen, David (Sue) Linsenman, and Sandi (Vincent) Taliercio; grandfather of 18; great grandfather of many; and great great grandfather of one. Preceded in death by siblings Nellie Brain, Sarah Kaufman, Phyllis DeHaven, and Stanley Ritchie. Sam was a veteran of the US Army WWII and retired from Pontiac Motors after 42 years of service. He was a member and past president of the Eagles Club, and member of the American Legion Chief Pontiac Post 377, Clarkston. Sam was an all around "handy man" he could fix anything and enjoyed helping his children and grandchildren with whatever project they had going. He also enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking, traveling, and most importantly time with his family. He was an amazing man who will be missed by all who loved him.
