FLEISCHER, SAMUEL of Holly, passed away June 2, 2021 at 89 years of age. Loving husband of Susanna for 62 years; dear father of Susanna (Raleigh) Wilburn, Rosina (fiancé Tom Kleino) Murphy, Samuel M. (Julie) Fleischer, and the late Ronald (Heidi) Fleischer; grandfather of Alexandra, Jennifer, Hannah, and Samuel A.; brother of Susanna Krautner, Maria Emrich, Johan (Mary Ann) Fleischer, Stefan Fleisher, Rosina (John) Mellin, and Katharina Moody. Samuel was born in Transylvania and immigrated to the US in 1955. He met his future bride at a wedding in Ohio having already known her when they were children in the same town in Transylvania. Married in Detroit and would raise 4 children. Samuel owned and operated Superior Lawn Spray Service for 26 years retiring and selling his business at age 65. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting, building, inventing, mechanical maintenance (he could fix anything) and landscaping. Samuel will be remembered as a hard working man (family curse); a good provider for his family; dramatic storyteller; entertaining; and quick with a smile and compliment. Samuel's life and legacy will live on in his greatest accomplishment, his beautiful family.
