MARTINEZ, RUTH of Waterford, passed away February 18, 2022 at 92 years of age. Loving wife of the late August Martinez; dear mother of James (Tammy) Martinez, Jane (David) Wright, and the late Jefferson Martinez; grandmother of Jefferson (Morgan), Jade (Joseph), and Andrew (Vanessa); great grandmother of 4 with 1 on the way. Survived by 1 sibling and preceded in death by 4 siblings. Ruth retired from Chase Bank after many years of service. She was an avid bridge player who could never convince her children to learn to play. Ruth enjoyed walking and exercising, but what she cherished was time with her children and grandchildren. She will be remembered as the "social butterfly" and for the great love she had for her entire family. A private funeral mass will be held and interment at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly.
