Obituary

of Clarkston, passed away May 5, 2018 at 92 years of age. Rudy was one of the original entrepreneurs. His first leap into owning a business was a small grocery store in Pontiac. Next, it was a Mobil gas station where he honed his mechanical skills and pumped countless gallons of gas (the good ole days!). Finally, he decided to open the infamous, Mazza Auto Parts (LOL). He dedicated himself to the love of his life Joy, and their 4 children. Rudy was a man of few words, although he was known for his classic one liners, sometimes making you wonder later-on, did he really say that?! He also enjoyed telling stories about his countless number of travels and adventures with his wife Joy, their children, and their wide circle of incredible friends and family. Rudyrsquo;s true passion in life was work and that is what he did until he was 91. He will be remembered as a , self-made, hardworking man who helped many people throughout his 92 years. His family loved him greatly and will miss him deeply. Beloved husband of the late Joy for 70 years; loving father of Deborah (Ronald) Harris, Karen (Jerry Guidry) Mazza Guidry, Jeffery (Corrine) Mazza and Gina (Chris) Turner; grandfather of Bryce (Flora), Chad (Sarah), Toni (John), Drew (Stephanie), Brent (Erika), Trevor, Kevin and Taylor (Julia); great grandfather of 8; brother of the late Frank amp; Nancy Mazza, Alice amp; Tony Anselmi, Josephine amp; Jim Serravelle, Edith amp; Carl Grassi and James amp; Nicki Mazza.
