GJELHAUG, Ruby Edna, age 89 of Waterford, passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2024. She was born on August 7, 1934, in Mesick, Michigan to the late William and Leola Wilson. Ruby was a dedicated wife and mother. She also dedicated herself to the senior citizens, ministry, and her family. She was a stay-at-home mom who was selfless and always put others before herself. Ruby's favorite past times were reading and watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy. Ruby was loving wife of Ronald Gjelhaug; children: Martha Gray, Sharon Lowry, Donna Alexander, the late Jeff Whitney, Eve Southern, Anna Pagac, and Paul Gjelhaug; grandchildren: Amy, Richard, Morton, Jeff, Tina, Jodi, Debbie, James, Tonya, Jacob, Joshua, Sam, the late Angel, Cassandra, Brittany, John, and proud great grandmother of many; siblings: the late Pearl Bos, the late Wilbur Wilson, the late Gerald Wilson, the late Clarence Wilson, the late Phyllis Matthews, Sylvia Agar, Jennie McDowell, the late Majorie Kalisch, Jason Wilson, the late Morris Wilson, Glenn Wilson, the late Glenna Rubel, and the late Ralph Wilson. A memorial service will be held at 12 noon on Friday, March 29, 2024, at Lakecrest Baptist Church, 35 Airport Rd., Waterford.
