MELTON, ROSEMARY (née Corey) passed away August 26, 2023 at 73 years of age. Loving wife and soul mate of the late Thomas Melton for 32 years; beloved mother of Mona Harroun, Corey Harroun, and Gregory (Elizabeth Parks) King; grandmother of Kaitlynn (Chris) Ulman, Suzanne (Jeremy Garcia) Harroun, and Nevaeh King; great grandmother of Meilani, Austin, and Luna; sister of Sam (Jill) Corey, Michael (Kim) Corey, Becky Corey, Kristina Siwek, and the late Wanda Lashbrook; former mother in law of Tabitha Miller and Don LeDuke. Rosemary was a 1968 graduate of Waterford Kettering High School. A bookkeeper by trade, she worked for several companies and retired from IBEW Local 58 after over 20 years of service. A member of the Daughter's of American Revolution she maintained the same observation spot for the Waterford Township Memorial Day Parade for 55 years. She was a free spirit, kind hearted, and enjoyed a good ride on her motorcycle. A phenomenal wife, mother, and grandmother she will be forever missed. A funeral service will be held Friday, September 1, 2023 at 11 AM at COATS FUNERAL HOME-WATERFORD. Burial follows Lakeview Cemetery, Clarkston. Family will receive friends Wednesday 5-8 PM and Thursday 4-8 PM.
