GEIGER, ROSA "MAXINE", age 91, of Waterford, passed away August 21, 2021. She was born on May 2, 1930 in Decatur, Illinois to parents Lester and Bertha Rose (nee Buchannan). Maxine was a very crafty person, but excelled in quilting and oil painting. She enjoyed traveling with Carl in her RV for 34 years. Maxine was a faithful and devoted member of Good Samaritan Church in Pontiac. She loved spending time with her family and friends, and especially her grandchildren. Maxine is survived by her daughter, Lori (Cliff) Dawson and son, Kirk (Elizabeth) Geiger; grandchildren: Danielle (Larry) Foster, Stephanie (David) Baca, Nicole (Kevin) Stokes, Kirk (Bradley) Geiger, Ashley Dell; 11 great grandchildren; and her beloved dog, Zoey. She was preceded in death by her husband of over 60 years, Carl Geiger; siblings: George Rose, Barbara Owens, Mary Lindsey, and Gordon Rose.
