PARSONS, RONALD P. of Waterford, formally of Florida, passed away April 14, 2021 at 87 years of age. Loving husband of Betty Ann Parsons (nee Walker) for 47 years; dear father of Paul Parsons, Scott (Linda) Parsons, David Parsons, Mark (Lisa) Parsons, Lori Parsons, Marylynn (Greg) Murray-Cole, and Mike (Carol) Murray; grandfather of Lisa (Adam), Elisha, Isaac, Benjamin (Nikki), Samuel, Melissa (Joseph), Elizabeth, Kaitlyn, Sarah, Dayna (Petros), Michael (Paula); great grandfather of Malakai, Penelope, Julius, Dalilah, Luke, Ryan, Audrey, Brianna, Riley, David, Fletcher, Callie, Jasper, and Olive; preceded in death by grandchildren, Megan and RJ Parsons and daughters-in-law, Jane and Renee; brother of the late Vera Schroeder. Ron was a veteran of the US Army-Korea and was a pattern-maker for Sherwood Metal Products in Drayton Plains. After retirement he and Betty lived in Florida for over 20 years with an active social life. Ron was a sailor at heart enjoying time spent on the lake. As a young chorister and musician he loved listening to Big Band jazz, and joining friends for breakfast at Peaches. He will be dearly missed by a loving family and many friends.
