ARNOLD, RONALD "RON" of White Lake, passed away March 4, 2025 at 91 years of age. Loving husband of Donna (née Gavin) for 61 years; dear father of the late Kristin Arnold and Amy (Tim) Healey of Green Bay, WI; grandfather of Katelin and Morgan Healey; brother of Ivan (the late Georgia) Arnold and Greg (Sue) Arnold; preceded in death by his parents Ted and Belva Arnold and siblings, Donna Linney, A. George Arnold, and Gerald Arnold; uncle to many nieces and nephews. Ron was a graduate of Pontiac High School and Michigan State University. He served the parents and students of the Waterford School District, retiring in 1996 after 36 years as a principal and finally as Director of Elementary Education. Active in his community, sitting on the boards of Boys Club and Senior Citizens Center and most importantly a co-founder of the Waterford Foundation for Public Education. Ron enjoyed playing golf, spending time with friends and family and cheering for his beloved Spartans.  Ron will be missed for the love he had for his family, friends, and his community. A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 22, 2025 at 1 PM at  COATS FUNERAL HOME-WATERFORD.   Family will receive friends Saturday 11 AM until time of service. In lieu of flowers please send a donation to Waterford Foundation for Public Education.
