HOUCK, ROGER LEE, age 79, of Clarkston, passed away June 19, 2023. He was born on March 18, 1944, in Pontiac, Michigan, son to the late Russel and Bessie Houck (nee Ball). Loving husband of Cathy for 59 wonderful years. Dear father of Michael (Tami) Houck, Laura (Mark) Wilson, John Houck and Gina (Brian) Thomas; proud grandfather of Jessica Wilson, Kaylen (Luke) Kropinak, Matthew Wilson, Sarah Houck and Tim Houck; great grandfather of Isabella and Hailey. Roger served his country proudly in the United States Air Force. He went on to work for the Pontiac Police Department for 25 years where he retired as Captain. In his spare time, he enjoyed softball, golf, watching football and cheering for the University of Michigan, but he cherished his time with his family above all. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 27, 2023, 11:00 AM with an instate of 10:30 AM at St. Daniel Catholic Church, 7010 Valley Park Drive, Clarkston. The family will receive friends on Monday from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a 7:00 PM Rosary at Coats Funeral Home- Waterford. Interment Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan.
