MILLER, RODGER WAYNE, age 60 of Wixom, passed away on Saturday, June 4, 2022. He was born March 11, 1962 in Pontiac to the late Forest and Beverly Miller. Beloved husband of Dawn Miller; dear father of Jesse Miller and Samuel Miller; brother to Douglas Miller, Todd (Delores) Miller, Dave (Shawn Chadwick) Miller, and Michelle (Lisa Thompson) Miller; loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. Rodger and Dawn were deeply in love and best friends for 40 years. They were each other's world. He was a very proud and protective father to his boys. Rodger was known for his sense of humor where he would crack a joke or pull a prank whenever possible. Whether hunting, fishing, tending the fire pit, gardening or feeding birds and wildlife, he was happiest outdoors. Rodger spent as much time as he could over the past 30 years restoring a Victorian farmhouse in the UP to make it the perfect retirement home for him and "his girl;" never saying no to any idea Dawn had. Rodger was taken too soon and will be deeply and forever missed. A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, June 10, 2022 from 3-7pm at COATS FUNERAL HOME – WATERFORD.
