SABERHAGEN, ROBERT ANDREW "Papa Bear", of Waterford, passed away on Friday, November 25, 2022. Robert was born in El Paso, Texas on November 23, 1959, son to the late Beverly Garrett(Witsche); beloved husband of Kimberley Ann Saberhagen (Boyd) for 9 wonderful years; cherished father Gina England, Selena( Ronne) Carone, Kayla Holbrook, and Emma Holbrook; proud grandfather of Alyssa Charlick, Benjamin "Ben" England, Megan Moon, Raven Saberhagen, Christalina Carone, Dylan Carone, Ronne Carone Jr., Avery Carone, Oliver Holbrook, Wesley Holbrook, Samuel Holbrook and chosen grandchildren Don, Zoey, and Leela; great grandfather of many great grandchildren and an abundance of extended family; dear nephew of Ted ( Cindy) Witsche; dearest brother of Terry( Annette) Saberhagen and Diana Saberhagen-Jones. Robert was a hard worker even with everything he had to overcome growing up. He worked as a truck driver for many years. He met the love of his life Kim, through his children, and they were married October 5th, 2013 at the New Experience Church of Christ in Pontiac. In his free time, He enjoyed family cook outs, fishing with his grandchildren and hanging out with his fur babies a Bull mastiff Kasey and Chihuahua Bandit. Most importantly, his family meant the world to him and they came first. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2022, at 1 PM at COATS FUNERAL HOME-CLARKSTON. Family will receive friends Friday, December 2, 2022 from 4-8 PM. Family requests any donations be made to the funeral home.
