PICKETT, ROBERT LOUIS, age 87, of Waterford, passed away November 16, 2022. He was born on November 25, 1934, in Benton, Illinois, son to the late Elmer and Rose Pickett (nee Hornak). Loving husband of the late Barbara; dear father of John Pickett, Susan (the late David) Lawson, Julie Stock and the late Diane (David) Cue; proud grandfather of Rob, Christine (Doug), Chad, Jessica, Michelle (Rich), Brandon and Cassie; great grandfather of Colton; brother of Carolyn (Ray) Campbell and Linda (Dan) Gosley. Bob worked for General Motors for 34 years, and then went on to enjoy retirement for 35 years. He was an avid deer and pheasant hunter, he enjoyed camping, wintering in Florida and taking his grandkids on dune buggy rides at the Silver Lake sand dunes. Bob also coached championship girls softball teams and played basketball for the Senior Olympics. Funeral service will be held on Monday, November 21, 2022, 11:00 AM at Coats Funeral Home- Waterford. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM. Interment Ottawa Park Cemetery in Clarkston, Michigan.
