Loving husband of the late Jeanette (nee Vliet); dearest father of Jane Morse, Beverley Merz and Robert Morse, Jr.; grandfather of Christopher Merz and Sarah Merz; great grandfather of Alyssa, Alex, Erik, Eli, Garrett, and Callen Merz; brother of Geraldine (Don) Seeterlin, Mary Ellen Cox, Virginia (Ray) Hampshire, James (Jerry) Morse, Ken Morse, the late Evelyn (the late Jack) Craven, the late Richard (the late Barb) Morse and the late William Morse; brother in law of Jean Morse. Bob was a veteran of the US Army WWII and retired from GM after 32 years of service; a 25 year volunteer with the Independence Twp Fire Dept. and former District Chief. He was an active and long time member of Clarkston United Methodist Church; lifetime member of the Masons and Eastern Star; and member of the Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts.
