LEIGHTLEY, ROBERT LEROY, age 82 of Waterford, passed away on Sunday, December 6, 2020. He was born on June 22, 1938 in Pontiac. Robert retired from Consumers Energy after 31 years of service. He was a faithful man and loved Jesus. Robert will be remembered for his kindness to his neighbors and his willingness to help with all of their lawn care needs. He enjoyed keeping busy and keeping his lawn well landscaped all year round. Robert will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 27 years, Mary Leightley; daughter, Maggie Leightley; step-daughters: Barbara (Bob) and Jennifer (Jaret); grandchildren: Nan and Noah. He was preceded in death by both parents and sister, Carol. As were his wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date in warmer weather.
