HOLAN, ROBERT C. "RC" or "BOB" of Waterford, passed away April 5, 2021 at 95 years of age. Loving husband of Nancy (nee Walser) for 64 years; dear father of Jennifer Holan, the late Jeffrey Holan, and Julie (Paul) Oakes. Preceded in death by his parents Charles and Julia (nee Caprosky) Holan; siblings, Rosemary Holan, Thomas Holan, Cheryl Holan Lanning, and Kathryn Holan. Bob was a veteran of the US Army Air Force-WWII as an aerial gunner. He earned a bachelor degree in mechanical engineering from University of Michigan and retired from Pontiac Motor Division in 1986 after 34 years of devoted service. Bob had a good life at Pontiac Motor and especially enjoyed his race car engineering assignments. In his spare time he restored old Corvettes; worked in his yard; and spent time with their cherished dogs. His love of dogs would find one or two dogs in their lives at all times. He will be dearly missed by his loving family. Private burial with military honors will be at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly.
