HOGG, ROBERT J. of Clarkston, passed away September 25, 2023 at 75 years of age. Loving father of Robert (Athena) Laughlin and James Hogg, and served as a father to Dawn Laughlin; grandfather of Robert, Natasha, Cameron, Malia, and Willow; son of the late Robert F. "Mountain Red" Hogg and the late Virginia Ruth (née Ferree) Hogg Hollar; brother of Sheila (Kirk Francis) Madison, Shirley Flynn, Rebecca Kellar, and Dwight (Jen) Stamps; uncle to many nieces and nephews. Survived by the mother of his son Robert, Debra Carney and preceded in death by the mother of his son James, Sherry Lowery. Bob was a graduate of Pontiac Central High School and retired from Fisher Body in 1995 after 30 years of service. Following his retirement and he continued to be active and owned and operated B&S Custom Cars & Hotrods. Bob was a hustler and a trader when it came to cars, cards, and playing pool, some of his favorite things to do with family and friends. He enjoyed displaying his love for nature and antiques throughout his home; jamming on his guitar; cruising old school cars; and riding his motorcycle as a member of The Brother's Motorcycle Club. He was a lover of weed, women, jewelry, and his many fish aquariums. He will be dearly missed for his constant reminders of love and free labor, along with his many cute poems and flirts that brought joy and smiles to everyone's day. Funeral service will be Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at 11 AM at COATS FUNERAL HOME-WATERFORD. Burial will follow in Drayton Plains Cemetery, Waterford. Family will receive friends Tuesday 4-8 PM.
