GADDIS, ROBERT L. "BOBBY" of Clarkston, passed away October 21, 2022 at 82 years of age. Loving husband of Jean for 60 years; cherished father of the late Jennifer Lane, Robert Andrew (Amy) Gaddis, and Rebecca (Dale) Matthews; grandfather of Asa (Tori), Noah (Becca), Isabella (Adam), Jack, Kate, Jake, and Chloe; great grandfather of Fiona, Hadley, and Elwood; brother of Chuck Gaddis; brother in law of Tom (the late Denise) McPheeters, Rosemary (Tom) Lee, Barbara (the late Cody) Lann, and Donald (Diana) McPheeters; father in law of Scott (Jenna) Lane; preceded in death by siblings Phil, Richard, and Dave Gaddis. Also survived by his little furry companion, Missy. Bob worked 10 years for GM and retired from The Oakland Press as district manager of circulation after 27 years of service. Bob was a physically active person. As a boxer he enjoyed boxing as well as   coaching young boxers. He enjoyed running; softball; playing cards; old movies; old westerns; and Elvis. He will be remembered for his love of the Three Stooges and his infamous "Stooge Party" marathons with his grandchildren.   Funeral service will be Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at 11 AM at Marimont Community Church, 424 W. Walton Blvd, Pontiac. Burial follows Ottawa Park Cemetery, Clarkston. Family will receive friends Tuesday 4-8 PM at COATS FUNERAL HOME-CLARKSTON, 8909  Dixie Hwy, Clarkston and Wednesday 10:30 AM at church until time of service.
