TOMCZAK, ROBERT PAUL "BUTCH", age 78, of Waterford, passed away January 1. 2023. He was born on November 22, 1944, in Ashland, Wisconsin, son to the late Henry and Frances Tomczak (nee Kontny). Loving father of Andi (Joshua) Steaban and Micki (Danny) Dowlan; proud grandfather of Parker; brother of James (Mary) Tomczak and Carol (the late Billy) Mesik. Robert was a United States Veteran serving his country in the Army during the Vietnam Era. He worked for General Motors for 36 years. Robert was the proud owner and driver of the Butchwhacker Blown Alcohol Hydro. He was a master machinist who enjoyed building and creating in his garage. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 6, 2023, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Coats Funeral Home – Clarkston. Interment will be held at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan at a later date to be determined. Memorial donations in Robert's name may be made to the Vietnam Veterans of America.
