formerly of Bloomfield Hills passed away on November 30, 2017. Survived by his wife of 69 years, Shirley Adams, sons Daniel (Lisa) Adams, Thomas (Barbara) Adams, daughters Nancylynn Van Oyen and Carolynn (Greg) Gilbert, 9 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. Robert was an optometrist for multiple decades; he was also a member of Lions Club. His passion was his music, and was a member of both the Redford Civic Symphony, as well as the Birmingham Executives. He was a veteran, as he served his country during World War II. There will be a private service held in the future.
