DENNE, RICK, age 83, of Waterford, passed away November 10, 2023. He was born on July 14, 1940, in Detroit, Michigan, son to the late Ernest and Irene Denne (nee Rowe). Dear father of Rodney and Jason Denne; proud grandfather of Baylen, Joseph, Jillian, Calan, Paloma and Hayden; dear step-father of Roxanne Rives; sister of Carene Nolan (nee Denne), and uncle of Debbie (Pat) Irwin, Sandy (Brian) Hawkins, and Kathy (Andy) Hill. Rick served his country proudly in the United States Army during the Vietnam era. He went on to work for and retire from General Motors. In his spare time, he enjoyed golfing, fishing and doing projects for others. A Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 22, 2023, 12:00 PM at Coats Funeral Home-Clarkston. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Inurnment Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan. Memorial donations in Rick's name may be made to the Hero Foundation or Tunnel to Towers.
