RUELLE, RICHARD LEE of Prescott, passed away August 16, 2019 at 89 years of age. Born November 6, 1929 in Drayton Plains, Michigan, son of the late Joseph and Margaret Ruelle; beloved husband of Charlotte Ruelle nee Johnson for 68 years; loving father of Richard Jr. (Joyce) Ruelle, John (Joan) Ruelle, Kathy (David) Johnson, Patti (Bill) Taylor, Bonnie (Craig) Thornberry and Susan Concepcion; proud grandfather of John David, Jaime, Jerry, Joie, Michael Robert, Jennifer, Michael David, Phillip, Megan, Sarah, Tabitha, Rachel, William, Jeremy and James; cherished great grandfather of 25; dearest brother of Ralph and preceded in death by siblings Louis, Dave, Steve, Dorothy, Art, Mary Jane and John Raymond. Richard enlisted in the US Army at age 17. After serving his country he came home and started a wonderful family with his best friend and wife Charlotte. He worked as an engineer in the automation equipment field that helped to take care of his family. Richard ultimately loved spending time with his children hunting, fishing and golfing. Richard, in his later years, selflessly devoted his time to take care of his love, Charlotte. He spent every moment he could by her side until the day he passed. A Funeral Service will be 10 AM Tues. August 20, 2019 at COATS FUNERAL HOME-WATERFORD (3141 Sashabaw). Family will receive friends Monday August 19th, from 3-8 PM. Interment Drayton Plaines Cemetery. Memorial donations may be directed to the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer's Association.
