Loving husband of Carolyn for 16 years; dear father of Jason Roy and step-father of Michael (Karen) Hughes; caring brother of Gerald Roy, Kim Roy, Tim Roy, Kay Pitcher, Sally Roy, the late James Roy and the late Dolores (Gordon) Dell. Brother-in-law of Dennis (Linda) Campbell, Randall (Connie) Campbell, Judye (Mitchell) Foltz, William T. (Linda) Campbell Jr. Also survived by many special grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents John and Florence Roy and his in-laws William T. (Pauline) Campbell Sr. Richard was a veteran the US Army. He enjoyed his time in the woods with his good friends and family, at his cabin near his home town of Alpena, MI.
