Loving husband of, the light of his life the late Sandra; dear father of Tracey (Frank Rosenblat) Haener, Julie Haener, Eric (Kim) Haener, and Kathleen (Rick) Drinkard; grandfather of Emily (fianceacute;e Cody), Brooke, Benjamin, Gilian, John, Margaret, Riley, Skylar, and Reese; brother of Ann Borysiak. Preceded in death by siblings, John Haener, Joan Fluharty, Kathleen Garnell, and Marge Keller. Richard retired in 1998 as chief financial officer for Pontiac Osteopathic Hospital. He enjoyed boating, golfing, dancing, and traveling; spending winters in Key Largo and summers at Torch Lake.
