AXFORD, RICHARD ALLEN, age 79, of Waterford, passed away Monday, July 20, 2020. Born August 1, 1940 in Pontiac, Michigan, son to the late Lester and Florence Axford (nee Sicklesteel). Loving husband of Carol for 36 years, dear father of Richard Jr., Wendy (Joe) Bruz, Robert (Tess) Evans, Kelly (Scott) Cline and Tammie Maxwell; proud grandfather of Luke, Kami, Scotty, Cristina, Stephanie and Samantha. Richard worked for General Motors for 27 years. In his spare time he enjoyed motor homing, traveling, car shows and driving his 1953 MGtd. Funeral service Thursday, July 23, 2020, 1:00 PM at Coats Funeral Home- Waterford. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 11:30 AM until time of service. Due to pandemic restrictions masks are required for entry into the funeral home, thank you for your cooperation and understanding. Interment Perry Mount Park Cemetery.
