MILES, RIC, age 79, of Waterford, passed away March 3, 2023. He was born on May 17, 1943, in Pontiac, Michigan, son to the late Frank and Virginia Miles (nee Smith), Loving husband of the late Charlotte; dear father of Tammy (Butch) Critchfield and Chrissy Miles; proud grandfather of Ryan Dennis and Kira Critchfield; brother of Janet Miles and Debbie Miles. He is preceded in death by his two brothers, Frank Miles and Larry Miles. Ric was a proud United States Veteran serving his county in the army during the Vietnam era. He went on to work for General Motors for many years. In his spare time, he loved playing horseshoes. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 10, 2023, 11:00 AM at Coats Funeral Home-Waterford. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Interment Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan.
