KASAT, RAYMOND F. "RAY" of Waterford, passed away April 18, 2023 at 90 years of age. Husband of Carol (nee Dooley) for 56 years; father of Kelly (Daniel) Milstein, Paul Kasat, and Julie (Renato) Razon; grandpa of Brianna, Kaden, Julie, Lance, the late Joshua, Kaitlyn (Jeff), Madison, Andrew, Celia, and Antonio; great grandpa of 3; brother of Doris (the late Dan) Leach, the late Delbert Kasat, and the late David (the late Linda) Kasat; former father in law of Melinda Kasat. Ray was a veteran of the US Navy-Korea and retired in 1993 from Pontiac Motor after 43 years of service. He was a longtime active member of St. Stephen Lutheran Church, Waterford. Ray was an avid golfer; bowler; and card player. He especially enjoyed boat rides on Lake Oakland with family and friends. Ray was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather whose dry sense of humor and wit will be forever missed.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at 11 AM at St. Stephen Lutheran Church, 3795 Sashabaw Rd, Waterford. Family will receive friends Monday 3-8 PM at COATS FUNERAL HOME-WATERFORD and Tuesday at church 10 AM until time of service. Private burial will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly.
