Rachel Rodriguez - Winters, age 56, passed away on May 12, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Flint, Michigan, on August 21, 1967, to the late Richard and Julia Rodriguez (nee Pacheco).

Rachel was the beloved wife of Ridge Winters for 16 wonderful years. She was a loving mother to Richard (Sabrina Mitchell) Rodriguez, Dario (Kelsey) Rodriguez, Melissa Bonnello, Jared Rudolph, Giovanni Rudolph, Jericho Rudolph, and Andrea Armendariz. Rachel was a proud grandmother to the late Isabella and also to Lilith, Marcella, Bruce, Dianna, Richie, Cadence, Adair, and Lando. She was also a cherished sister to Richard (Sandra) Rodriguez, Jamie (Crystal) Rodriguez, Arianna Rodriguez, and Cassidy Rodriguez.

Rachel graduated from Flint Central High School in 1985 and furthered her education at Mott Community College, where she earned an associate's degree with a focus on electronics. She dedicated over 20 years of her life to home health care, where her compassionate nature shone brightly.

Spunky and full of life, Rachel loved to dance and was known for her phenomenal karaoke performances. She had a nurturing spirit and was affectionately known as the "mother of all children" in her neighborhood. Rachel was also a talented artist, with a particular gift for painting.

Rachel's love story with Ridge began in the apartment complex where she lived, and their first date was spent playing pool at the 313 and singing karaoke at JW's in Flint.

A visitation will be held on Friday, May 24, 2024, from 4-9 PM at COATS FUNERAL HOME – WATERFORD. A Graveside Service will take place at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 25th, 2024, at Ottawa Park Cemetery (6180 Dixie HWY at Maybee Rd). To process to the cemetery for the Graveside Service, please arrive at the funeral home by 10:30 AM.

Donations for the family may be sent to the funeral home.

Rachel will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her legacy of love, laughter, and kindness will live on in the hearts of those she touched.

A Celebration of Life Service and sharing will be at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, May 24, 2024 at the funeral
