MOODY, PHILIP EARL III, age 79 of Clarkston, passed away on Saturday, June 19, 2021. He was born on November 21, 1941 in Detroit to parents Philip Earl II and Barbara Marguerite Moody. Philip was a hardworking family man who loved every second that he spent with his family. He especially enjoyed spending time with his wife Charrie. Philip was an avid reader, enjoyed the outdoors, maintaining his home and vacationing in Hawaii. Philip is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Charrie Moody; children: Richard J. Moody and Melissa M. (Gordie) Marshall; grandchildren: Evan, Parker, Christian, Sophia, Lauren, Luke, and Jake; siblings: Linda Moody, John (Kathy) Moody, Daniel (Sharon) Moody, Joan (the late Jerry) Muhme, and Mark (Charleen) Moody. He was preceded in death by both parents; children: Peter E. Moody and Heather L. Shonts; siblings: Judith Moody and Paul Moody. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 am on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 from 5-8pm at COATS FUNERAL HOME - WATERFORD with a Rosary Service at 7pm. Those desiring may make a memorial contribution to the American Brain Tumor Association in memory of Philip.
