of Ann Arbor, age 54, passed away peacefully at her nephew and niecersquo;s, Bryan and Jamie Gnyprsquo;s home on November 28, 2015 surrounded by family and her best friend, Nancy. She grew up in Waterford and graduated from Waterford Kettering High School in 1979. She dedicated her life to Christ and followed His path to become an oncology nurse. Peggy graduated from Wayne State University in 1983 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing and moved to Ann Arbor to begin her long career as an oncology nurse. Peggy received a Master of Science degree from the University of Michigan and became certified as an Adult Nurse Practitioner in 1990. Peggy took great pride in her work at the University of Michigan as an oncology nurse for 32 years, the last 18 years in the Blood and Marrow Stem Cell Transplant Program as a Transplant Nurse Coordinator until her health forced her to take a medical leave of absence. Peggy is survived by her parents, Art and Winnie Parker; Nephew and Niece Bryan and Jamie Gnyp and their children Weston and Evie; sister-in-law Julie Parker; best friend Nancy Andrews; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and other devoted friends and colleagues. Peggy had great compassion for animals and leaves behind Princess Gabby. Peggy was preceded in death by her beloved brother Brett Parker.
