SCHELL, PAUL DAVID, age 65, of Clarkston passed away on Tuesday, September 28, 2021, the beloved husband of Nita for 44 years. He was born on February 21, 1956 the youngest son of the late Donald and Barbara, preceded by brother, Don. Survived by brothers: Floyd, John, Dan, and Joe. Loving uncle and mentor to many nieces and nephews. Paul's greatest accomplishment was coming to Christ his lord and savior. He loved teaching the Bible, and when he was not teaching, he continued learning and studying the word. He was a decorated Cold War Veteran which he served in the United States Air Force. While in the Air Force, he started the Quick Stop Bike Shop in Marquette, which is now one of the top 100 bike shops in the country. Paul was the founder and owner of Jade Hearing Instruments, Michigan's only hearing aid manufacture and dispenser for over 36 years, where he served his clientele with passion and integrity. His love of the profession never ceased. Paul had many hobbies, but his car collection was at the top. He was a standout guy who lived a full, blessed life. His generosity, sense of humor, and his outgoing personality will always be remembered and forever in our hearts. A funeral service will take place at 11am on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at COATS FUNERAL HOME – WATERFORD. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 1, 2021 from 4-8pm. PER REQUEST FROM THE FAMILY, MASKS ARE REQUIRED IN THE BUILDING FOR VISITATION AND FUNERAL SERVICE . Interment at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Those desiring may make a memorial contribution to Karmanos Cancer Center of Detroit.
