Mr. Patrick A. Tooman, age 71, of Clarkston, went to the Lord on Friday December 17th 2021 after a very courageous battle with cancer. Surviving are his wife of 37 years, Kathryn and his daughter Laura (Brad) Rising. He also leaves behind two brothers, Gary Tooman, Richard Tooman and nephew Richard. He was preceded in death by his father Budd, Mother Mary and brother Michael.

A pioneer in the plastics industry, Patrick founded Plastic Engineering & Technical Services (P.E.T.S.) in 1984 and grew this company worldwide with operations in many countries. Patrick was born in Kalamazoo and lived in southeast Michigan his whole life.

Although he traveled extensively for his jobs throughout his life, he loved this area. He enjoyed Skiing, hunting, golfing, snowmobiling, boating, car and firearm collecting and had a great fondness for the outdoors. He also loved spending time with his family on Torch Lake in Northern Michigan.

An avid volunteer within the community, Tooman considers himself very fortunate and donated to several charities in the hopes that it helps others to achieve their dreams as he had. Those organizations included, Children's Hospital of Michigan, Lighthouse of Oakland County, Grace Centers of Hope in Pontiac, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, among others.

In lieu of Flowers, memorial contributions to Grace Centers of Hope and the American Cancer Foundations will be appreciated.
