KALISZEWSKI, PATRICIA E., of Waterford, formerly of Rapid River and Highland, Michigan, passed away on September 2, 2026, at 81 years of age.

Patricia was the dear wife of the late Arthur Kaliszewski for 34 years; loving mother of Beth (Jay) Martin, Robert (Pam) Clement, and the late Tammy Veraghen; cherished grandmother of Aleshia Jouppi, Greg Cook, Tyree Martin, Tatijana Martin, and Dominic Martin; and dear sister of Wendy (Charlie) Grabelle, Terry (Patty) Bouchard, and Fran Boucard.

Born in Garden, Michigan, to Alex and Avis (née Leivdal) Bouchard, Patricia was a proud graduate of Garden High School. Her roots in Michigan's Upper Peninsula remained an important part of who she was, and she treasured the memories made there throughout her life.

Patricia was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who loved her family deeply. She was also quite the character, known for her goofy personality and wonderfully dry sense of humor.

Patricia enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. Some of her fondest memories were made along the river in Rapid River, fishing with her beloved Art. Whether sitting beside the water or spending time together in the great outdoors, those moments were part of the life they enjoyed together.

She also loved being in the kitchen, where cooking was another way she showed her love for those around her. And then there was shopping—something Patricia truly enjoyed. She could happily spend time browsing, finding just the right thing, and enjoying the simple pleasure of a day spent shopping.

Patricia lived life in her own special way, with a generous heart, a playful spirit, and an ability to find humor in everyday moments. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose laughter, personality, and love for her family will be deeply missed.

The memories she created—from quiet days fishing with Art to family gatherings filled with good food and her unmistakable humor—will remain treasured by all who knew and loved her.
