GREEN, PATRICIA ANN, age 94, of Waterford, Michigan, peacefully departed this life on December 28, 2020, at home with family by her side. She was born on December 3, 1926, in Flint, Michigan, to the late Wesley and Angeline Twa (nee Bouchard). She married Robert Earl Green on September 5, 1949, in Crystal Falls, Michigan, and together they enjoyed 59 years of marriage. After their marriage, they moved to Owosso for a short period of time and then moved to the Waterford-Clarkston area where they raised their seven children, all of whom attended Our Lady of the Lakes School in Waterford.Patricia was a proud graduate of Michigan State University and taught elementary school for the Pontiac School District for 34 years. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir and directing the CCD program. Her passion was music and she was a longtime member of the Sweet Adelines in Michigan and in Florida. She was also very active in the Brownies and Girl Scouts.In her retirement years, Patricia resided in Golf Lakes Mobile Estates in Bradenton, Florida, where she was the activity coordinator for the residents. She planned trips and many other social events including Saturday morning coffee hour sing-alongs.Left to cherish her memory are her seven children: Diane (Craig) Collins, Christopher Green, Patricia (Green) Ellis, Paula (Michael) Peters, David (Kim Lockard) Green, Steven (Elizabeth) Green and Stacia (Timothy) Chrapek; ten grandchildren: Christopher, Matthew, Elizabeth, Daniel, Evan, Nolan, Brian, Christopher, Gabriella and Mitchell; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert, brother Robert Twa and sister Marjorie Jane Koleski.In fond remembrance of Patricia...Keep a smile on your face, a song in your heart, kindly remember there is no such thing as "UP North", and respectfully remove your hat indoors.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Patricia's name may be made to the ASPCA, the Michigan State University Veterinary Program, or the Lions Club of Michigan/Visually Impaired. There will also be an additional celebration of Patricia's life in the spring for family and friends when gathering restrictions are lifted.
