Boyer, Patricia Mattson, age 55 of Ortonville, passed away on Thursday, April 4th, 2024.  She was born on January 27, 1969 in Erie, Pennsylvania to parents Glenn "Curtis" Mattson and Rita Mattson. Patty was an amazing woman born and raised catholic as a beloved only daughter of Curt and Rita Mattson in Erie, Pennsylvania.  She attended Our Lady of Mount Carmel for her early education then onto Mercyhurst College where she graduated with bachelor's degree with honors in accounting and later becoming a CPA Certified Public Accountant.  The work she cherished most doing later in life was being the Registrar at Everest Academy school in Clarkston MI, where her only son attends. She was an active member in the school as homeroom mom as well at church volunteering her time and love.  She took great pride and joy in her family in providing love and support to her husband and son in making our house a home filled with love.  Patty's faith and trust in our LORD was unwavering throughout her life and always knew he would take care of us.  She loved to read mystery novels, but her absolute favorite family time was time spent during our family boating weekend vacation out on the sandy shores of Lake Michigan. Her husband Charles Matthew Boyer "My Charles" and only cherished son Charles Roman Curtis Boyer. Her two loving Parents Glenn "Curtis" Mattson and Rita Grymaszewska Mattson. A funeral service will take place at 1pm on Friday, April 12, 2024 at COATS FUNERAL HOME – CLARKSTON. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 11, 2024 from 4-8pm, and again on Friday, one hour prior to the service. Those desiring may make a memorial contribution to the Michigan Humane Society in honor of Patty.
