WINTER, NORMAN EDWARD, of Waterford, passed away March 14, 2020, at 90 years of age. Born October 8, 1929 in Pontiac, Michigan, son of the late Edward Herman and Elsie Lucille Winter (nee Harrison); loving husband of Julia Winter for 67 years; cherished father of Nanette (James) Balek and Gregory Winter of Tennessee. Norman graduated from Elmwood High School in Auburn Heights in 1947. In 1982, he retired from GM Fisher Body plant after 30+ years. Norman served as scout master for Troop 23 of Auburn Hills and as scout master for Troop 52 of Waterford. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Community Presbyterian Church of Waterford and/or Alzheimer's - Michigan Chapter. Due to the Coronavirus and per recommendations by the CDC and the National Funeral Directors Association, all visitations and funerals will be private for immediate families only, until further notice.
