Norma Jane (Cinader) Torpey, age 89 of Davisburg, Michigan - formerly of Big Beaver (Troy), MI died peacefully on August 30, 2022. She was born August 9, 1933 to Mary and Jesse Cinader and enjoyed growing up in the country with her 4 brothers. She was the first graduating class of Troy High School where she was a cheerleader and played softball. Norma was married to Dennis E. Torpey (owner of T.J. Torpeys Meat Market) until his death in 1997. They had 5 children – Lynne and husband Steve, Tom, Cliff (deceased) wife Karen and husband Tim, Denny and wife Sue, June and husband Joe. Grandchildren – Tracey, Mindy, Jennifer, Jonathan, Samantha, Casey, Lexie, Kyle, Karli, Jamie, Kelly, Shannon. Great Grandchildren – Ethan, Mady, Natalie, Jonah, Elly, Cliff and many nieces and nephews.

Norma was a great cook and known for never letting anyone leave her home without getting something to eat. She was a kind hearted soul who loved her family, especially her Grandkids, Great Grandkids and her brothers Chuck, Bill, Ronny and Dave. She was a kid at heart and was always up for a grandkids sleepover which included popcorn, a movie in bed, and made to order breakfasts. Norma lived a beautiful life on this earth with all the people she loved. We will truly miss her.

Funeral Service Saturday, September 3, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, September 2, 2022 from 3:00-8:00 p.m.
