Nick' of Ortonville, passed away on May 5, 2019, with his family by his side. He was 26. He was born in Pontiac, Michigan on June 7, 1992. Loving husband of Lauren; beloved son of Frank (Heidi) Kotz and Paula (Jerry) Imboden; dear brother of Zak, Ben, Nate and Hunter; dearest grandson of Henry (the late Jean) Szramowski and the late Norma Kotz. Also survived by his fur babies Riley and Hank; parents in law Scott and Shari Slaith; sister in law Megan (Mike) Bajorek; best friends Jeremy McCallum, Steven Strzelecki and Chelcie Rowe; god son Liam Rowe and many aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous other friends. Nick graduated from Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic School in 2010. He worked for many years with the family business Kotz Heating amp; Cooling, where he did just about any job you could imagine. He loved cars, if it wasnrsquo;t a Chevy it didnrsquo;t matter. He was a 'Chevy Man' taking pride in building his 1937 Chevy Rat Rod Pickup. He also enjoyed hunting, anything country and working. He never stood still and was always busy doing something. He was a quiet guy, very practical and just down to earth.
