Neil Reid Simmons, age 57 of Mancelona, went to be with the Lord on August 12th 2021. He was born on July 25th 1964 to Ken and MaryLou Simmons. Neil proudly served in the US Army and loved his country. He was an incredible husband, father and papa. His most enjoyable moments were spent with his wife and best friend Kelly, most recently at their cabin. He loved being outdoors, fishing, going for ranger rides and University of Michigan football. He is survived by his wife, Kelly; daughters: Taylor (Leon) and Nicole (Ryan); step- sons: Tj and Bobby; daughter-in-law, Kalie; grandbabies: Kennadie, Mason and Vanessa; siblings: Maureen (Tim), Juanita (Bill), Jeff (Debra) and Kim (Janice), and many very special nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by parents, Ken and Marylou Simmons, and brother, Tim. Pastor Jayson Combs officiating. Interment at Great Lakes National Cemetery with full military honors.
