(nee Sewell). Born in Sewell, KY in 1930, passed away peacefully on September 8, 2017 at 87 years of age, with her daughters at her side. Loving wife of the late Robert 'Bob' Spring for 65 years, dear mother of Cathy Cavataio and Karen Spring; adored grandmother of Angela (Jason) Adams;beloved great G-ma of Benjamin, Samuel and Thomas Adams; special aunt of Mitch (Jamie) Spring and great aunt of Katey and Austin Spring; cherished sister of Jean Buchanan and Ruby Beval, both of Ohio and Ray Sewell of Arizona; loving aunt to numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by beloved granddaughter Juliet Adams, brothers Ralph, Bill and Pete Sewell and sisters Carrie Taylor, Daisy Baldwin and Lucy Struve. Nancy enjoyed such hobbies as sewing, basket weaving, ceramics, gardening, and mostly caring for her family. In 1948 she came to Michigan from Kentucky to attend business school. She met her future husband Bob on a blind date to the Detroit Zoo.
