Obituary

Nancy Marie Glover of Flushing and Flint, was called home to be with our Lord, Thursday May 23, 2019, at 67 years of age. She was born April 6, 1952 in Flint, Michigan, the loving daughter to the late John and Pauline Barry. Beloved wife of Michael Glover for 24 years; dearest mother of Jarret Hernandez and Tony (Wendy) Glover; cherished grandmother of Riley Hernandez and Zachary Glover; dear sister of Connie (Dan) Forsythe, Paula (Dennis) Whipple, the late David Barry and the late Peggy McDowell. She is also survived by her brother-in-law Roy (Janice) McDowell and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Nancy was a graduate of St. Mary's Catholic School in Flint Class of 1970. She was a teller with Motor City Co-op Credit Union for many years. She was a member of St. Robert Catholic Church and the Flushing Moose Lodge. She loved to work in her garden, play Sudoku and collect Merry miniature collectibles. Nancy was also a very adventurous person, sailing with Mike and their friends on all the Great Lakes. Most of all Nancy will be remembered for her kind and tender heart, and how much she loved her family and friends.Visitation:Family will receive friends at the church Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.Service:A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, June 15, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Robert Catholic Church (310 N. Cherry St. Flushing, MI 48433). A luncheon will follow the service in the church hall. Private burial will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Memorial donations may be directed to the American Cancer Society in Nancy's name.
