KNISLEY-PARRY, MYRTLE of Waterford passed away December 14, 2021 at 96 years of age. Loving wife of the late Donald Parry for 27 years and the late Raymond Knisley for 45 years; beloved mother of Gene (Linda) Knisley, Kathy (John) Shaffer, Deb (David) Ritter, Sheila (Richard) Bollman, the late Robert (Bonnie) Knisley, and the late Patricia Mayo; step mother of Carl (Heather) Parry, Penny (the late Brian) Wright, Tina (Chris) Thurlow, and Don (Shawn) Parry; grandmother of 18; great grandmother of 34; great great grandmother of 8; sister of Geneva. Preceded in death by 2 grandchildren and 1great grandchild, and 6 siblings. Myrtle was a loving and caring woman who dedicated her entire life to her family. The matriarch of her family, and the neighborhood, she easily developed personal relationships with every person she met. She was lovingly known by family, friends, and all the neighborhood kids as Nanny, grandma Nan, or grandma mom. She faithfully attended numerous churches over the years, and most recently The River in Waterford. She enjoyed time with her family, sewing and cooking, and in later years, time with her grandchildren and a trip or two to the casino. This extraordinary woman will be dearly missed by all who loved and cherished her. Funeral service will be Saturday, December 18, 2021 at 1 PM at COATS FUNERAL HOME-WATERFORD. Family will receive friends Saturday 11 AM until time of service.
