JACKSON, MURIEL HAZEL of Waterford, Michigan, went to be with the Lord on January 10, 2023 at 94 years of age. Loving wife of the late Ephriam Jackson; cherished mother of Phillip (Pam) Jackson and Brenda Eckerly; grandmother of David (Marge), Tony (Kim), and Derek; great grandmother of 3; sister of Thomas "Woodfork" Pippin, Lewis Freelon "Doc" Pippin, Mona  Benson, Milta Vaughn, Mintie Newcomer, Maude Farris, Mamie Chaffin, Margie Dyer, and Emery "Sonny" Pippin. Hazel was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was an active member for over 50 years at Waterford Community Church. She enjoyed gardening and was a garage sale "queen" every Thursday for 25 years searching for the perfect hat, costume jewelry, and jewelry with enough gold to cash in at the end of the garage sale season. Once she moved into Rose Senior Living she readily joined the many activities and especially enjoyed the jewelry making and redesigning her costume jewelry finds. A caring and giving social butterfly she always made sure her neighbors felt welcomed and cared for. The twinkle in her eyes when she smiled will be so dearly missed. Funeral services and burial will take place at a later date at Whitson Funeral Home, 30 N. Dixie Avenue, Cookeville, TN.
