CARTER, HAZEL passed away on July 18, 2023, at 86 years old. Hazel was born in Louisa, Kentucky on August 25, 1936, to parents Wallace and Mella (nee Rowe); loving wife of the late Morton Carter for 67 wonderful years; cherished mother of Jennifer (the late George) Heitsch, Jeffrey (Danyelle) Carter, and Eva (Michael) Schlenkert; proud grandmother and great grandmother of many; preceded in death by 6 siblings.  Besides being a doting mother of three, Hazel also worked for Kmart in the receiving department and cafeteria. In her free time, she enjoyed cooking, holidays, and most importantly being with her family.  She will be deeply missed by all. Interment will take place in Kentucky along with her husband at a later date.
