YOUNG, MICHAEL E. of Clarkston; passed away unexpectedly January 9, 2022; age 55.  Preceded in death by his parents Glen E. Young and Ardis E. Hagerman and his in-laws Robert and Darlene Cowell; beloved husband of Sherri A. Young for 29 years; cherished father of Ashley (Benjamin) Strong, Nickoel (Geno Mersino) Young and chosen son Glenn (Sarah) Young; proud chosen grandfather of Landon, Luke, and Layna Young; dearest younger brother of Gerald (Jewel) Young, Terry (Glenn) Milliken, Sheila (Michael) Dowdy, Sandra (late Benny) Wrose, Gloria (late Edward) Skaggs, Harold (Fran) Young, and best friend Robert Decker. In 1984, Michael graduated from Clarkston High school. He worked as a foreman for Oakland counties for 20 plus years. In his free time, Michael enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and going to the Silver Lake Sand Dunes; Most importantly, he loved to laugh and spend quality time with his friends and family. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and community. A celebration of life gathering will be held, details to be determined.
